Healing Thoughts

Welcome, dear readers and friends, please scroll down....

The fish’s mouth

In the fish's mouth

We are told to look

For money that we need;

Is this old saying

Just to put in our minds

The expectancy of good;

Everywhere?

Is it not the natural thing

To give man what he needs

And put it somewhere interesting

Just to demonstrate his trust.

Who I am

I prayed to be lifted

Out of a situation;

Now, it is happening,

I cherish every moment;

And am thankful,

For years of serving the public,

Has made me more aware

Of who I am.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Establish that relationship

If it seems times get tough

I revert back to the basics,

And know the reality of being;

What else is there?

I pray and I know already

That my prayers are being heard,

Because my relationship

With God, divine Love,

Is already established.

Spirit moves me

The world wants to know

What I am going to do;

I tell them I live only today.

That is what one does

In the proverbial kingdom,

I can feel the touch of Love,

Life is rewarding;

And Spirit moves me.

Am I dreaming?

My poetry files are getting large

As my thoughts just keep on streaming

I’m not sure what to do with it all,

It’s almost as if I’m dreaming.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

No thing one cannot do

When one knows that God is All

Instead of just saying it,

Or reading about it:

When one truly knows

That God is All, everything;

Then, there is no thing

That person cannot do.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Seek healing

When healing is expected,

It may be required due to

Wrong thought manifest

Or some wrong thought which perchance

Progresses into something ungood,

And looks like fear manifest,

But, it has no real existence,

Since it is not made of God.

All such erroneous thoughts

If they happen to manifest,

May be corrected; and they will be.

This is necessary in order to demonstrate

The real truth of being; that is:

That we are all made in the image

And the likeness of God,

Who is Love and Principle itself.

As such, we are each perfect in every way:

And this truth is universal;

Which provides nourishment to the poor,

Answers for the truth seekers;

And healing for all those

Who previously thought

They were not well.

Who you are

I'm unimpressed with

Material wealth and things

Because I know that spiritual things

Are far greater than physical ones;

And no matter what you have,

It is who you are that really counts.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Healing

Thoughts which need correcting

May be manifest in ugliness;

But do not believe the so-called

Material picture,

Remember and know that

Divine Love guides mankind;

And leads those who are ready

To a place where they may hear

And healing takes place.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Let Truth heal

There is nothing to stand

In the way of Truth

Nothing to impede healing;

Know the entire process

Will be and is, complete.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

The universal power

We think, like Dylan,

We’re on the eve of destruction

When everything changes,

And unbeknownst to us,

Things work out better,

As we open our minds

To the universal power

Of Love.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

I’m too deep?

They say I'm too deep

But, hey: I’m still here;

And I know what I know

There’s nothing to fear;

I hope that the people

Who have no belief,

When physical means fail them,

That they get their relief;

And they come to know

The spiritual world reigns;

It’s Love and Truth that are real,

And we are more than our brains.

My prayer for anger

In managing so-called anger

I say everyone should learn

How to express and manage

Their emotions;

And how to deal with people.

I would have everyone experiencing

Only happy emotions;

I would have everyone safe,

Sound; enjoying the peace of the day;

I would have all mankind

Dealing with whatever comes in life

In the kindest way possible:

I would have all the so-called

Angry people

Looking at themselves,

And I would have them

Realizing that they are all made

In the image and likeness of God,

And I would have them

Not reacting angrily

To those around them,

But instead,

I would have them all

Responding, with Love.

Gone by the wayside

There is a cure for everything

Even so-called stupidity;

Oh! How I wish that people

Would work at living

Their best lives,

And I pray that they would

Think;

Not only before they act,

But most of the time,

Except when they are sleeping

Like the thinkers amongst us.

Oh! How I long for the day

When stupidity has gone by the wayside,

Along with all of its perpetrators.

Concentration

Thoughts being vibrations,

It follows that to concentrate

Serves to increase their rhythm

And brings things to fruition

At a much quicker pace

Than otherwise

Might have happened;

And all that good concentrating

Will oust any other thoughts;

You know,

Those with weaker vibrations;

Until they are gone altogether;

As the most powerful vibrations

Take total control

Of the creative process.

Never-ending supply

The old saying:  "Start weaving

And God will furnish the skein"

Depicts just how we should all trust

When we go out into the world;

Because the truth is,

That God does furnish

Everything we need.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Believe what you believe

Believe what you believe

Do not just wait to see;

For believing is trusting,

And no harm can come from this;

You need to formulate your thoughts,

Decide what you wish to believe,

And, along the path of life,

If you are open minded,

You may find there are differing beliefs,

Some of which are more advanced,

Pure, innocent,

Almost too good to be true,

And you may wish to cling

To your own, old beliefs,

Or you may just as easily choose

To alter or change yours,

It is said we must outgrow the old,

And put on the new:

My friend, just know there is a path

Which is meant exactly for you.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Thoughts have power

If you think

What you think today

Has no affect;

Look at your own life,

Remember what you thought,

You will soon see that

You have brought it all

Into your experience.

This is freedom of choice:

Think what you want.

Truth rocks on

I insist on integrity

And will accept no less.

I had long been fooled,

And was saved by Truth;

I found honesty is utmost;

As Truth rocks on.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

The best for you

The illusion is like a dream,

Only you are awake.

Listen to your mind,

Your inner soul,

What is it telling you

That you should do?

If you know,

Then you must do that

Without hesitation;

Divine guidance

May be easy to hear

And difficult to follow;

But just know that

It will always be

The right thing to do,

And show you

The very best course

For you.

Toronto

I was born and raised

In this town,

That was back when they

Delivered milk and mail;

Sometimes, twice daily;

Oh, the good old days;

Before voice mail,

When people had time.

TO held such excitement

With music and big band clubs,

Parks and green space.

You could even drink the water

From the lake:  it was so pure;

That was way back,

When Toronto was referred to

As "Toronto the good".

War

What good is saving property

Only to lose lives?

No profit can come from killing

Oh! When will they learn

That Love is the answer?

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Ponder the universe

I've never been lonely, or bored;

I can always find something to do

Or something to lend my thought to;

As for being alone, I relish the hours

When I can sit and ponder

The universe.

Rain

Rain falls on my face

Whenever I look upwards;

Rain sprinkles onto my head

As I run out to get in my car;

Rain is there, day and night,

Rain is really and truly a delight.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Relax

The skies are grey

Another day;

But my heart is light,

This shadowy twilight;

My love is here

Right beside me, tight,

And we’re going to relax,

On this soft summery night.

I’ve played Doral

I'm an athlete

(Though I may not play much),

I still feel like an athlete,

I know that felt sense of a perfect shot;

I played golf as a youth,

And I still do, in my mind;

I have played some of the best courses;

And have rather enjoyed every round.

Safety

I feel safe

In God’s Plan,

I feel safe knowing

I am in His orbit,

And wherever it is

I ought to be,

That is exactly

Where I intend to be.

Someone to love

I can see the sweet joy of a child

In his eyes,

I can feel his warmth and love.

My grandson fulfills me,

This little man is sent from above,

Someone to teach, someone to love.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Ever so trusting

My life has changed

In many ways so far,

But I adore changes:

They embellish character,

For I never know

What is ahead,

I just know Who knows,

I live minute by minute;

Day by day;

Ever so trusting.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

God’s love

Nothing can separate us

From the love of God,

It sustains us,

Moving us to raise up our thoughts

To realize we are here on Earth

To meet one another’s needs;

And express God’s love.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Every land and every space

Like the sun is a huge ball of fire,

God is an humungous ball of Love,

And little ones can understand

That God really is everywhere,

In every land and every space;

Remember, my friend,

There is nothing that a great

Humungous ball of Love

Cannot do.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Love

Once word gets out

Writings speak for themselves,

May you spot the hyperboles

Before you are taken,

Dear reader,

And may antonyms for Love

Fill your soul,

As you should know by now

Love is the light of Life.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Silent Knowing

A dear friend told me today

About silent knowing,

And I realize it is one thing

That I need to do more;

Another old friend told me,

You cannot teach a stranger

About rock and roll

Although I’ve silently known this

For a long long time.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

Tomorrow is hope

I love tomorrow

I can think of many things

To do then,

Things to make or create,

As in sewing;

Guitar tunes to learn

Oh! tomorrow is such a fine day:

Everything happens then

Or it’s going to:

And, God willing,

All decided by me.

Tomorrow always seems

A tad better than today;

You know, just a little out of reach,

Tomorrow is really the heart of today;

It should be celebrated

For what it really is:

Tomorrow is hope.

© C.A. Warman Dickinson

A thought dream

This entire physical existence

Is but an illusion,

Sometimes elaborate, or not:

It’s like a very long slow dream,

As we make of it what we may;

All according to our own thoughts.
