Paying back
When it seems as though
You can't even afford
To pay attention: you can.
You can pay attention to God
Who looks after you,
And you can pay Him back
By doing His will.

Poetry
Poetry for the soul
That breaks into the vault
Of human emotion and psyche;
Taking out what is undesirable
And inserting only the best
Only what is good and fine,
Into the open heart and mind.

I think my medicine
I'm adamant about not taking in
What I know to be untrue.
In fact, I mute all tv commercials
For I have found that relying upon
The age-old science of metaphysics
Works the best for me;
So, while others may spend time
Watching medical commercials,
I think my medicine.

Love and Principle
If you want something
You can keep with you
And refer to if you need
Some encouragement,
Or need to be reminded
That Life is good,
Why not use this thought:
Love and Principle reside
In the human realm.

Grandchildren: be your best
Do not judge others
For what they say or do,
Just hear what I say:
Do your best to emulate perfection,
In all that you say and do.
You are each unique beings,
And as such, on your own paths,
Which are being guided by God,
Something like mom and dad
Would guide you
When you are young.
Remember always that
Love controls the world,
And we are all here
To love one another
And to be kind.

Heal the environment
If you go somewhere
That you think or feel
Requires correction,
In some way:
It may come as a thought,
Or it may be visual;
Whatever it is,
You can control the situation
By consciously thinking
The truth that harmony is a fact,
Which it is, spiritually:
And watch the vision change
Before your human eyes.
For the metaphysical, or thought
Does control the physical,
And this is all quite normal,
In God’s kingdom.

Truth: 2 times 2 is 4
The Principle of Mathematics
Can be equated to
The Principle of the Universe,
In which there are set guidelines
Causing all things to fall into place,
Adjusting everything in such a way
That perfect harmony is restored
Just as 2 times 2 is always 4.
Space does not matter
I have learned firsthand
That space is no impediment
To Love, God or healing.
My own child was healed in minutes
When we were in Canada
And the healer in Florida:
This is what I call proving Truth.

Don't follow me
My thoughts are just my thoughts,
Some of them may be original,
Hopefully, most are divine,
I do want to be an open funnel for God,
And allow Love to speak through me,
Like a God Whisperer, if you will,
Because, I have such love and respect
For all of God’s creatures: humans included.
I’m not saying I would not swat a fly,
But I do apologize before doing so.

Our choice: human or divine
If someone should think they are ill,
I would still think of them as whole,
As God has made them,
Though I dare not interfere
With their thoughts,
Unless they should ask me to do so;
Of course, then,
The floodgates would open,
I'd think of Truth and Love
In consciousness,
And I always expect
An harmonious result.
God, Love, knows each of us
As His perfect reflections,
Unique and complete, individuals,
And He allows us to choose our own path;
Then, if, like Christ, we choose
To relinquish our own human will
And ask for His divine guidance,
He will, thereafter, gently guide
And correct us; that is,
If we should ever happen
To make a wrong choice.
While our thoughts are young,
It's our choice on which path to tread:
The human, or the divine;
After our thoughts have matured,
If they have been fruitful,
The simplest and only choice
Seems to be the divine.

Accept change
My mind is focussed
No one can alter it;
Though people may try,
I stick to my guns,
For I have come
To a good place by being myself,
And accepting change.

God chooses
While it is true that meekness
And moral graces are necessary
For spiritual advancement;
I believe that God chooses
Whom He wants to advance
And He has pointed
His mighty finger at me.

My mentor is Love
I do whatever I do each day
And sometimes people
May say I do little,
Even though all the time
I am thinking,
And my thoughts
Reflect the divine.

The enemy
Fear, the first wrong thought,
Is an enemy from the start,
Disallow it entry altogether;
And, if it should somehow sneak in,
Let it go - for, it's not a quality of Love.
Allow only divine thoughts in there:
This is your precious mind,
Your real address:
If ever anything untoward
Should present itself to your thought
Refuse to see what you're looking at:
For it may be ugly or beautiful,
But it is matter, therefore erroneous.
Have no fear, it's all an illusion:
There is no thing to fear:
God is everywhere.

Forever
May you continue learning forever
And always have hope;
May you realize that time
Has nothing to do with forever,
Which goes on, ad infinitum,
Meaning for eternity,
With no end: ever:
And forever is the longest time
We could ever hope to survive
And live, and be with one another,
And it may take that long
For peace to be proven here on Earth,
But remember
Peace is already the norm
In the spiritual world
Which is a majority of forever.

You take your peace with you
I prayed for peace all my life,
Which may seem a little odd,
But, even as a little girl,
In a family of four children,
There was rarely an opportunity
For solitude, or a place to be alone.
When once I learned about spiritual things,
I achieved the peace I'd craved
And prayed for;
Have you ever noticed that
Wherever there is a person of peace,
Everyone around that person
Experiences the blessed affects?
Yes, whether they know it or notice it;
It is true; however,
When that person of peace moves on,
They take their peace with them.
This is probably to encourage others
To recognize peace, to strive for it,
And grasp at it,
To endeavour get closer to God, Love,
The true author of peace.
I'm grateful that I, in some way,
May have even been an impetus
For another's spiritual growth,
By showing them
That peace already constantly exists
In the spiritual world,
And it can be experienced here.

Entertainment
Musicians are under-appreciated
And should be paid more;
After all, they have to stand there,
Night after night,
Playing their hearts out,
Often to no audience at all.

He listens
Everyone is tweeting, following,
Texting and talking.
I say be your own model:
Look deep inside, at your thoughts,
And if you have time to talk,
You must have already had time
To discover yourself;
And then, you have something to relate.
This is the first step
To getting on the good path,
The next one is to develop
An ongoing communique
With the ruler of the universe.

Different in a good way
Most of my life,
I’ve been reserved.
Over the years,
I have gathered some wisdom;
And even though I think
Differently than most,
I like myself, and seek not acclaim:
My desires are simple,
With God’s gracious help,
It si to serve others in need,
And do no one any harm.

All good
Words are given me
By God, divine Love,
And Spirit moves me
To say these things:
Truth is pure;
There is nothing else.

I work for Him
God supplies me
I know that He is now,
And He always has been,
Providing for me;
That is; all my life;
And He will take me
To that place
Where I can do the most good;
And where I may honour His name.

Everything
I began to understand
That God is good,
Then, I began to grasp
That God really is All:
Everything,
And the more I keep with God,
The better off I am in every way.

God given talent
God gives us talents
We must use in life,
We know what they are,
We need to use them right,
For everyone is special
In their own little way,
And we all can prove
God’s love fills all space
Today.

Free
God has healed me,
I did nothing material
To effect it,
In fact, everything I did was mental.
I first disputed there was a mishap;
For His kingdom is all harmony.
I prayed to know I'm a child of God,
And so, it's no mistake that now,
I'm completely free.

Divine Principle: Mind over matter
Healing began with the first thought
Just as it looked as if I fell to the floor
In a seemingly crumpled heap;
My first thoughts freed me
From the pain:
And I knew nothing could harm me,
After awhile, pain gone,
As I lay on the floor
Affirming I’m spiritual, not material,
Made in the image and likeness
Of Love, God: so 100 Percent perfect;
These thoughts carried me through.
Despite the nasty appearance,
And a temporary inability to walk,
Within days, I was free again.
Proving the principle of Mind, God,
Supreme over man and materiality.

Understanding
Never seek human understanding,
Or think for a moment
That you are alone,
Even if it seems that you are,
Because you can never be alone.
Always remember
That God understands you,
So carry on,
You are here to please Him
And no one else.

I am blessed
I love people and animals,
I’m definitely blessed
From above;
I have a grown child,
Two lovely grandchildren,
My health, my hopes and dreams,
I feel that God smiles upon me.
© C.A. Warman Dickinson
Peace
I prayed for peace
And finally, it came to me.
I had achieved
What I had striven for;
The truths of the universe
Became known to me,
Since then,
I have been blessed to live
In the kingdom.

Wow
The completeness
Of God’s kingdom
And its riches
Cannot be articulated
With mere words:
It is a whole new experience,
One that gives one much to consider
More to be grateful for,
In the realization
That there is only abundance
And God, good really is All.

The nickel drops
I cannot go forward
When I’m looking back,
Nor should I expect to grow
While I examine material things,
For I know what seems to be
Is not that which really is;
And the fact that we are beings spiritual
Has finally begun to sunk in.
